I have often heard people ask me, “What will I be doing if I come to visit Tumaini on a vision trip in Kenya? Well, besides the usual, and important activities, such as visiting your sponsored children at their homes, building homes for extremely needy families, setting up green houses, and more, we are announcing several specific opportunities beginning this summer at our girl’s high school. We need volunteer coaches in these fields: Swimming (CPR certified), dancing, computer, and basketball. Other volunteers are also welcome, such as those who can teach various forms of crafts, music and more. Long term, we will be looking to form partnerships for exchange programs with one or several US high schools for mutual benefit to both institutions. Also, beginning summer 2025,  we will be looking for medical volunteers at Tumaini Mission Hospital. The period can be limited to a two-week vision trip or longer.
