Through interactions with the AIDS orphans and their communities in Kenya, they frequently identify two needs. Their greatest needs are healthcare and education. They reason is that if they are healthy, they will toil the land and supplement what Tumaini provides. They also say that if the orphans are educated, they will address the long-term economic needs of their immediate families and the nation as a whole.
At Tumaini we have been blessed to partner with Hope International University to educate some of our bright orphans. Currently five Tumaini students have received full-tuition scholarships to Hope International University in Fullerton, California. One way you can partner with us in this endeavor is through the scholarship fund. Even with full-tuition scholarships, the cost of room, board and books is significant. Donate to our scholarship fund.
