Ever since we launched Tumaini, we sensed there was a need to plant a church to cater to the needs of our kids and the community around our area of operation, Masii.

In October, 2008 Tumaini President, Stanley Mutunga, pioneered a church plant, Masii Christian Chapel.  Nine months later, the church is averaging 120 members.  Already he has  been asked to open branches in the surrounding towns.  Of course, we will wait until the ‘mother church’ stabilizes before we can begin to branch out to other parts of the country. What is known is that “the harvest is plenty and the workers are few” and we want to do our part.  There is no need to help thousands of people only with their physical needs.  We need to minister to the whole person.

If your group/church or individuals are interested in partnering with Tumaini on a church plant, please let us know and we will work out the details of the partnership
