Vision Trips to Kenya
The goal of Vision Trips to Kenya is to discover what God is doing in the various programs that Tumaini is engaged in and find your spot. It is an opportunity to discover first hand what God is doing in the lives of AIDS orphans, their families, surrounding communities and the Christian chapels that we are planting. More than “doing things for the poor,” Vision Trips are avenues for teams to pause and discover what God is doing, for in doing so, each one of us is able to discover our niche in His work.
During the two week stay in Kenya, we have put in place a variety of activities and projects for the participating teams to engage in. We believe that as team members take part in these activities, God would speak to each and every person about their possible long-term involvement with the ministry. This list is by no means exhaustive but it gives the teams and team leaders ideas on how best to prepare for their time in Kenya.
